Zoom Video Conference Seminar Series: The Daily Life of a Helicopter Air Ambulance Pilot
NOTE THE NEW DATE: JANUARY 21!
Welcome to our Zoom Video Conference Seminar Series. This seminar, held on January 20, is open to our lifetime members and all active (dues current) full Whirly-Girl members — another membership benefit for our Whirly-Girls community. Don’t miss out on the continued series of industry-pertinent topics.
When: THURSDAY, January 21 at 6:30 – 7:30 pm Central Standard Time.
Lauren Sutherland, WG #2205, is a helicopter air ambulance (HAA) pilot for PHI Air Medical out of East Texas. She will discuss her life as an HAA pilot, as well as the importance of maintaining currency — and proficiency! — flying under instrument flight rules (IFR) as a single pilot.
For the last eight years, Lauren has been the program pilot for Flight for Life Texas, flying the EC145 and EC135 under single-pilot IFR (SPIFR), as well as the 407GX. Lauren is originally from Utah and did her flight training at UHI in Provo, Utah. After working as a flight instructor, Lauren flew tours of the Grand Canyon before moving to Texas to work for Flight for Life. On her time off, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and children, biking, boating, crafting, and performing volunteer work.
This is a great opportunity to speak with an experienced medevac pilot about the air ambulance industry.
