Monday, March 6: Our gatherings on Monday will take place in room C108 in the Georgia World Congress Center at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30313:
Here are the events on Monday. All are welcome!
• 10:30 am – 12:30 pm: Annual Whirly-Girls business meeting. Hear the news about the organization from the Whirly-Girls Board of Directors, and vote for new board members. Remember: you must be an active (dues paid) Whirly-Girl to vote. All are welcome to attend!
• 1:15 pm – Photo. Let’s gather for a photo of Whirly-Girls and friends at HAI HELI-EXPO 2023!
• 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm Education day presentation, “Navigating Social Media as a Helicopter Industry Professional.” WG#1349 Elan Head, Contributing Editor for Vertical Magazine and Senior Editor for The Air Current, will talk about how what we post on social media impacts not only how others in the industry see us, but also how the public perceives the helicopter industry. She will discuss how algorithmic (and actual!) bias means that female pilots often have a different experience on social media than their male colleagues.
• 3:00 – 5:00 pm – Hovering. Come share your news and hear from other Whirly-Girls and friends at our Annual Hovering.
From Tuesday – Thursday, come visit the Whirly-Girls booth in the expo hall, room C3500.
